My best bet for tonight comes in the NHL where the red hot Rangers visit Chicago for an ‘original six’ matchup. The Rangers come into this game on a 6-game winning streak, including a 3-2 home win against this Blackhawks team in their previous game. For the Blackhawks, since they hired Derek King as their interim head coach on November 6th, they have turned around the trajectory of their season posting an impressive 8-4-0 record considering their poor start to the season under former coach Jeremy Colliton.

At -114 odds, most will think that this is a gift price on the Rangers but I do not like this spot for the them considering they just beat the Blackhawks in their previous game and they have a home game tomorrow night against the high flying Avalanche, which they could be looking ahead to. As well, the Rangers will be without star goaltender Igor Shesterkin as he is on the Injured Reserve. Blackhawks’ goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury will make his 900th appearance in the NHL as he looks to record his 500th career win and become the 3rd goalie to record 500 wins in NHL history. I am backing Chicago tonight to get the victory as a home underdog.
